Scope

This policy outlines the requirements for terminating network connections associated with communications sessions to enhance the security of organizational systems and protect Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). This policy applies to all users, systems, and devices accessing organizational networks and resources.

Determine If

  • A.03.13.09.ODP[01]: Defines the time period of inactivity that triggers the system to terminate a network connection associated with a communications session.
  • A.03.13.09: Describes the termination of a network connection associated with a communications session, which occurs either at the end of the session or after the inactivity time period defined in A.03.13.09.ODP[01].
